The capstone project for design students attending Arizona State University involves constructing a reflective piece that addresses a pertinent social issue in modern society. Consumed is an abstract clock that conveys the economical, social, and psychological issues associated with American consumer culture.
The project’s homonymous booklet details the extensive design process and comprehensive research that was conducted to transform the abstract piece into Avaricious America – a digital exhibition that challenges visitors to become conscious of their consumerism.
